On February 25th, 2022, the University of Bucharest organized the final conference in the ITRES Project .
ITRES is the acronym for “Innovative Teaching methods for tomorrow’s Renewable Energy Specialists”.
The ITRES Project was funded through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014 – 2021 Program and centered on building up a high-quality Master program on renewable energy sources, in cooperation with the Reykjavik University.
During the event, the Romanian Geoexchange Society has presented information on its general activity and on the activity performed in the frame of the GEO4CIVHIC Project. Special focus was awarded to the cooperation with the Pan-European Network of Centers of Excellence on Shallow Geothermal Energy in view of future common activities, such as specialized courses and joint research activities. These activities would connect the GEO4CIVHIC network to other clusters including partners interested in developing shallow geothermal applications and building up the specialized human resource for this purpose.
