On October 17th – the first day of the 2022 European Geothermal Congress – CINEA organized a geothermal clustering workshop within the premises of the Berlin Congress Center.
The event – organized by the CINEA project manager Filipa Vieira Matias – brought together 12 EU financed projects in the geothermal domain.
The projects represented at the meeting were: GEO4CIVHIC, GEOFIT, CRM-geothermal, CROWDTHERMAL, EASYGO-ITN, GECO, GEOTHERM-FORA, GeoSmart, GEOTHERMICA, OPTIDRILL, ORCHYD and REFLECT.
The morning was dedicated to projects’ presentation and to setting the policy framework.
The GEO4CIVHIC Project was presented by the coordinator Dr. Adriana Bernardi.
The presentations were followed by a session of Q&A from the participants.
In the second part of the event, the participants took part in 3 consecutive discussion sessions dealing with “hot topics” of the European projects: Dissemination and Exploitation of projects’ results, as well as Policy issues. The discussions were meant to maximize impact and results, and to facilitate potential synergies among projects.
All participants appreciated the quality of the event and the expected outcomes with respect to EU financed geothermal projects.
